How can I upload my documents to the EA Portal?

Certainly! uploading documents to the Engineers Australia (EA) portal is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to successfully upload your documents:

 

Log In/Create new account on EA portal:

  • Access the Engineers Australia portal by visiting their official website.
  • Log in to your account using your username and password.
  • If a new user then create a new account.

 

Navigate to Dashboard of EA portal:

  • Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard or the section where document uploads are managed.
  • Then you'll get various options like Annual renewals, My EA, National Engineering register(NER),  Apply for membership, State Registration Eligibility, etc.

 

Select Migration Skills Assessment:

  • Look for an option that allows you to upload documents. This might be labelled as "Document Upload," "Submit Documents," or something similar.
  • Now, click on Apply for Migration skills/stage1 Assessment.
  • Click on I want to start a Migration skill assessment ie. for seeking assessment for migration purposes.

 

Assessment Pathway:

Select the assessment pathway according to your qualification:

  • Australian qualification
  • Washing Accord
  • Sydney Accord
  • Dublin Accord
  • Competency Demonstration Report (CDR)

 

Prepare Documents:

Ensure that your documents are in the required format. Commonly accepted formats include PDF, JPEG, or PNG. Verify if there are specific size or resolution requirements.

 

Choose Document Type:

Identify the type of document you are uploading. Engineers Australia typically categorises documents based on their nature, such as educational certificates, professional experience reports, or identification documents.


Submit Personal Details:

  • Passport-style photograph
  • Prime identification document
  • Name change document
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)/ Resume   
     

Submit application details:

  • English language competency test result document.
  • The test date shown on your report must not be more than 3 years old at the time your application is submitted.
  • English language competency test result reference:
  • Add reference number of anyone: IELTS-Test report form number, PTE-Score report code, TOEFL-Appointment number.

 

Click on Upload:

  • Click on the "Upload" or "Submit" button to initiate the document upload process.


Upload and Wait:

  • Once you've selected the files, click on the "Upload" button. The portal will start uploading your documents. The time taken may vary based on the file size and your internet connection speed.

 

Review Information:

  • After the upload is complete, review the information associated with each document. Ensure that the document names, descriptions, and any additional details are accurate.

 

Submit or Confirm:

  • Some portals may require you to submit or confirm the upload. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.

 

Payment:

  • If applicable, use the portal to pay the appropriate application fee.

 

Confirmation Message:

  • Look for a confirmation message or notification indicating that your documents have been successfully uploaded. This is typically displayed on the portal interface.

 

Verify Status:

  • Check the status of your uploaded documents. Engineers Australia may have a status indicator (e.g., "Pending," "Under Review," or "Accepted"). This information helps you track the progress of your submission. It may take 4-5 weeks for the normal application process.

After the essential part of writing CDR is completed, the next step is to make the upload on the Engineers Australia (EA) website. It is crucial to choose and upload the files on their correct portal. Else, EA will have feedback on your Skill Assessment.

  • Passport-style photograph
  • Prime Identification document (Passport bio)
